New Cancer Diagnosis Techniques with FFOCT and extreme full well, high-speed cameras
FFOCT devices that are enabling non-invasive cancer diagnosis.
FFOCT devices that are enabling non-invasive cancer diagnosis.
In many countries there is a demographic shift to older age groups resulting in increased incidences of cancer and many other diseases. This means an increased number of patients and samples while the number of skilled pathologists is not growing at the same rate. There is also a desire, especially with the assessment of cancer,…
Photonics West 2015 was the biggest one ever with over 21,000 attendees. For Adimec, we had the opportunity to demonstrate and discuss several new innovations including the fastest high-resolution metrology cameras, a high-speed, extreme high full well CMOS CoaXPress camera for FFOCT, and real-time, accurate hyperspectral snapshot cameras. Thanks for visiting us and for the inspiring conversations.…
In the latest edition of Imaging & Machine Vision Europe, Adimec’s development of high resolution CMOS cameras for medical imaging sytems in ophthalmology, including those for cataract surgery, were discussed. We also share our thoughts on the move from CCD to CMOS for more and more medical applications.
Machine vision, healthcare, and global security cameras demonstrated in TS Corp and JUN Vision booth #P100
Airborne sensor systems on manned or unmanned vehicles provide wide area observation, autonomous tracking, coordinate generation, positive identification from the air to the ground, and more.
We talked about the improved sensitivity of latest generation CMOS image sensors compared to CCD – see here for the details. For the CCD and CMOS image sensors we measured quantum efficiency and read noise, we also collected video and images at various light levels from our subsequent cameras.
With the move from standard resolution to HD for full motion video in global security applications to improve detection, recognition, and identification capabilities, there is then the question of what HD image sensor and camera are the best.
At the 2015 edition of the SPIE Defense and Security Symposium event in Baltimore, MD., held April 21st through April 23rd Adimec will display and discuss the enhancements to its TMX series of rugged full HD COTS cameras to provide full motion video in daylight on airborne payloads, long-range observations systems, and other sensor system architectures.
This week at the 2015 SPIE DSS, Adimec (booth #929) introduces the expanded TMX series of rugged COTS cameras for the global security market to include global shutter CMOS image sensor-based versions.
