April 15th to 19th, Adimec will exhibit at the SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing conference in Orlando (US) in booth #606.
We will demonstrate our latest advancements with our TMX CMOS rugged camera series including the Adaptive Resolution and eZoom functionality in 4k UHD color.
With the Adaptive Resolution functionality, the TMX series is designed to replace lower resolution CCD cameras while increasing performance and retain Field of View. Adaptive Resolution allows adjusting the high resolution of the CMOS sensor to a resolution comparable to the CCD camera at the output. This offers the possibility to keep the existing optics while replacing the camera to profit from lower noise, higher MTF and dynamic range. The lower noise of the 2nd generation Sony Pregius sensors expands identification capabilities in low light.
The eZoom functionality is optimized with interpolation algorithms to provide the sharpest zoom-in as possible. It increases the detection, recognition and identification probability.
We will also give a sneak preview of where image performance will go to in the future with our Advanced Image Processing (AIP). The focus of AIP is on improving image quality for long range observation. For example, AIP will make turbulence mitigation possible.
