Mark your calendars for 23-25 November for the 2021 virtual edition of the European Forum for Electronic Components and Systems.

EFECS is a European Forum for Electronic Components and Systems with a focus on ‘Our Digital Future’. The organisers of this event – AENEAS, Inside, EPoSS, ECSEL Joint Undertaking and the European Commission, in association with EUREKA and supported by BMBF – joined forces to bring all stakeholders along the Electronic Components and Systems value chain in Europe together.

Due to COVID-19, the 4th edition of this international forum will be a virtual event, taking place on 23-25 November 2020.

Adimec at EFECS 2021

LOOKING FOR INNOVATION PARTNERSHIPS

Adimec has strong focus on innovation. Over the past years we have succesfully participated in multiple EU funded projects under the CATRENE, ECSEL, HORIZON FP7 and PENTA label.

Currently Adimec is active partner in the PENTA label projects SENSATION (finished 2021), CAVIAR (finish 2022) and MANTIS Vision (started 2021). You are invited to visit these projects booths to learn more. In 2022 we will start as partner in the IMAGINATION project, also under the PENTA label.

Innovation is looking ahead. We are looking for new partners to form a project consortium to submit a project under the new Xecs or KDT JU calls of 2022. An approved project would start in 2023, running till or into 2026.

Adimec is active in imaging for Machine Vision, Global Security and Healthcare. We are looking for collaborations with partners where innovative theme’s in these fields meet the agenda of the ECS-SRIA on key applications fields Digital Industry, Health & Well Being and or Digital Society.

Session 2 – SME session

Theme: What makes a call SME friendly?

6 SME’s will share their experience with the various funding instruments, and how in their opinion the funding instruments can be best adapted for SME participation.

Short presentations of each of each of the SME’s will be followed by a panel discussion to find answers to the question: ” What makes a call for proposals in a funding program an SME friendly one?”.
