AENEAS, standing for Association for European NanoElectronics ActivitieS, is an industrial Association, established in 2006. The object of the Association is to promote Research, Development and Innovation in order to strengthen the competitiveness of European industry across the electronics components and systems (ECS) value chain. AENEAS is open to all European key players in the value chain, such as large industry, Small and Medium Enterprises, research institutes, academia, and associations.
On November 24-30, 2020 the elections of AENEAS board members has taken place during the AENEAS General Assembly. Adimec is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Joost van Kuijk as member of the Supervisory Board for a period of 3 years. The Supervisory board consists of representatives from 3 Chambers: A (SME), B (Universities and Research Institutes) en C (Large Companies). Adimec’s founder Ir. Jochem Herrmann has been appointed member of the AENEAS Management Committee.

Since 2015 AENEAS has taken over the management of PENTA, a EUREKA cluster with a mission to catalyse research, development and innovation in areas of micro and nanoelectronics enabled systems and applications
Adimec is member of the CAVIAR RD&I project consortium, a project within the EUREKA PENTA cluster, involving 10 partners from 4 countries. Caviar is developing new image capture technologies that will deliver benefits for healthcare, sustainable agriculture, digital industry and entertainment.
