Adimec will demonstrate several new innovations including a new Quad CoaXPress high-speed area scan camera, the Q-12A180 at the SPIE Photonics West event in San Francisco, CA February 10th to 12th. Click here for an overview of what we will share including a hyperspectral imaging camera.
The Q-12A180 camera utilizes the CMOSIS CMV12000 global shutter image sensor and is a 12 Megapixel CMOS global shutter camera that delivers images of 4096 x 3072 pixels at 187 frames per second (fps). It is equipped with the CoaXPress V1.1 Quad interface (4 x CXP-6) utilizing Adimec’s new 2 Gigapixel/s platform. Lower speed Camera Link versions (Q-12A65) are also available as well as higher resolutions such as 25 Megapixels (S-25A30).
As part of the CAReIOCA consortium, Adimec is developing a 2 Megapixel extreme high full well capacity (1600 kel) camera that will be used in high-resolution high-speed imaging based novel FF-OCT endoscopy to perform non-invasive optical biopsy for cancer assessment. Adimec’s Q-2A750/CXP evaluation camera provides the extreme full well capacity in a 1440×1440 resolution with 10-11 bits per pixel at over 700 fps utilizing a new global shutter CMOS image sensor. The camera will be demonstrated inside an LLTech LightCT FF-OCT microscope at the show.
Another area of development is for real-time, accurate hyperspectral snapshot cameras. Adimec is an official partner of Imec (Belgium) on hyperspectral imaging and is cooperating with Focal (Netherlands) and select customers to explore the potential of this new sensor technology in time-constrained medical and security applications.
