At the 2014 edition of the SPIE Defense, Security and Sensing event in Baltimore, MD., held May 6th through May 8th Adimec will display and discuss the latest enhancements to its TMX-DHD series of rugged full HD COTS cameras to provide color full motion video in daylight on airborne payloads, long range observations systems, and other sensor system architectures.

In addition to the 2/3” CCD image sensor based cameras in remote sensor head, cube outline, or board-level configurations, the TMX-DHD series now includes 1/2“ CCD image sensor options (TMX8-DHD and TMX9-DHD) for alternate optical formats, and these cameras will be demonstrated at the exhibition. All of the cameras in the TMX-6 and 7 DHD series offer 60 fps for no motion blur in the images when fast reaction time is required while the TMX8 and 9 series offer solutions for high-volume land-based vehicles programs. These cameras are optimized for lifetime extension and upgrade programs (standard definition to full HD) with various interfaces including HD-SDI, CoaXPress, and Camera Link and mini-Camera Link and possibilities for integrated zoom optics.
