CoaXPress (CXP) is a digital interface standard for the transmission of high-speed vision data from a single camera, to a host such as a frame grabber in a PC, using a single standard coax cable. Currently a 6.25Gbps downlink is supported. The single camera can also be an interface device that combines data from several cameras, as CoaXPress has the ability to carry multiple image data and meta-data channels.

CoaXPress combines the simplicity of standard coaxial cable with state of the art high speed serial data technology. The primary driving force behind the development of the CoaXPress standard was the need to overcome cable length, speed and ease of use limitations of legacy digital video interfaces in order to meet the requirements of high-end and future generation imaging applications.

CoaXPress combines the best features of other interfaces into just one future proof hi-speed vision interface solution.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text] Long cable lengths: in excess of 100m (without any hubs, repeaters etc).

XML file with support of GenICam, no camera files required.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Ease of integration: video, communication, control and power (PoCXP) over a single flexible standard coax RG59 and RG6 cable.

Multiple cameras can be connected directly to a single frame grabber and if required less complexity for multiple frame grabbers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Very accurate triggering capability with real time behavior through fixed latency of image output.

No additional trigger cable required for accurate triggering.

Cost effective, hot plug-and-play, royalty-free interface solution.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1511991744188{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;background-color: #f5f5f5 !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1511987173716{margin-top: 30px !important;padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;background-color: #f5f5f5 !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]High data rates: up to 6.25Gbps over a single coax cable and up to 25Gbps using four cables
